I studied law in Marburg and graduated with the 1st state law examination in 1998. My choice of studies was inspired by my sense of justice and my curiosity to figure out unfamiliar issues.
Labor law was already my focus at that time, which I further deepened during my legal clerkship in the Rhineland. After the 2nd state examination in 2000, I joined VIVA Fernsehen as a personnel officer / legal council.
Subsequently, I worked as HR Director in international companies in the healthcare industry (Molnlycke Health Care, UCB & PAREXEL) between 2005 and 2016. During this time, I advised the executive board and management on the successful design and implementation of various change projects. A cooperative and trusting relationship with works councils, fair dealings with the workforce and good communication have always been important to me.
In 2017, I started my own business as a lawyer and business consultant/interim manager. My industry focus is Health Care & Pharma, Software Development. & FMCG. I am a certified data protection officer DS-GVO/BDSG (TÜV 2018) and successfully completed the specialist lawyer course for labor law in 2017.
In addition to sound legal knowledge, my strengths include negotiation skills, an analytical mindset, assertiveness and “seeing the big picture”. I am a Senior Certified HR Professional (SHRM), trained in NLP, Motivational Interviewing and am a Scrum Master (scruminc). My clients appreciate my flexibility, commitment, integrity, solution orientation and a sense of humor at the right moment.
I am very interested in new technologies. I have no reservations about using them both professionally and privately if they make life easier and sufficient data protection and IT security is secured.
My clients say the special benefit being advised by me is, as a former HR manager and lawyer, I know both sides of the table. This helps identifying solutions and winning tactics in negotiations. In my free time, I love small breaks cycling at the Rhine, good food with friends and I have a temptation for Italian red wine. I like to travel in Germany and abroad, visit music festivals and events.
